About Your Instructor
Sherri is the Owner/Operator of Armed and Ready. Her training is geared towards defensive shooting tactics & having fun in the sport of shooting.
Sherri is a wife/mom and a woman who understands the importance of self-defense as a right. She has been involved with Friends of the NRA for over 25 years as well as a Nevada Department of Wildlife instructor for over 15 years. The 2nd Amendment and what is stands for is a large part as to why she went through the training necessary through the National Rifle Association to bring the opportunity for safe firearm handling to the area (Humboldt County, NV).
A main goal is to train and encourage people to defend themselves and their families. To encourage men and women to become confident and competent shooters. To enjoy the sport of shooting by offering them one on one training or in small groups and to remember that shooting is FUN!

All Multi-State Classes will begin promptly from 7:45a.m to 5:00p.m

Bring a handgun you intend to carry, 50 rounds of ammunition and Eye and Ear Protection, Lunch and dress for the ever changing Nevada Weather!

The class Sherri conducted was wonderful. She provided a wealth of information and showed her knowledge of each topic as she thoroughly explained them. Sherri also made the class very enjoyable and worth every penny.
I had the best experience working with Sherri. (She is a sweetheart) I had never worked with a gun before and was scared to death I was going to shoot my own foot. Sherri was so patient with me and explained everything in great detail. By the end of my session I left there feeling comfortable with what I was doing. I look forward to continue working with Sherri and building my skill level.

My husband and I took this class a month ago, Sherri is amazing! She turns a class that could be very dry and boring into one that is interesting and fun. Her classes are very informative and educational, with lots of humor to get you through the day. She provides an awesome lunch then takes you out and works with everyone individually on weapon handling and shooting!
